Welcome to Motively ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Motively mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.
By accessing or using Motively, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the App.
Motively is a mobile application that provides daily motivational quotes, allows users to save favorite quotes, track reading streaks, and share inspirational content. The App may include advertisements and optional premium features.
The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique anonymous user ID for each device. No personal information is collected or required. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifying information. The anonymous user ID is used solely to sync your app data (liked quotes, read quotes, streak) across app sessions.
Since we use anonymous authentication, there are no account credentials to maintain. Your app data is linked only to your anonymous user ID, which is stored securely on your device and in Firebase.
You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from your device settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may:

The App, including its design, features, functionality, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any content you create or share through the App. By sharing content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.
The App may contain quotes and content from third parties. We do not claim ownership of third-party content and respect the intellectual property rights of others.
The App may display advertisements from third-party advertisers. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or any products or services offered by advertisers. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
Certain features of the App may be available as premium features for a fee. Premium features are subject to additional terms and conditions. All purchases are final unless required by law.
We strive to keep the App available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
While we strive to provide accurate and inspiring content, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information in the App. Quotes are provided for motivational purposes only.
The App provides motivational content and is not intended as medical, psychological, or professional advice. If you are experiencing mental health issues, please consult a qualified professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
We may require you to update to the latest version of the App to continue using certain features. If you do not update, you may not be able to access the App or its features.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
